Delete your Couples Retro account

You can delete your Couples Retro account and its data at any time, from the app or by email.

In the app

1. Open Couples Retro and tap Settings.
2. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm with Delete Account and Notes.

What gets deleted

• If you started the board (owner): your account, your board, and every note and past board on it, for both of you. Your partner loses access to the board.
• If you joined a partner's board: your account and every note you wrote. Your partner keeps the board.

Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. Data is removed from our active systems and may remain in routine backups for a limited time before it is overwritten.

By email

If you can't use the app, email support@aestheticallypleasing.app with the subject "Delete my account". Include your Support Code (Settings > Support > Copy Support Code) or send it from the email address linked to your Apple sign-in, so we can find your account.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. To stop being charged, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Couples Retro.

If you only want to stop using the app for a while, Sign Out in Settings keeps your board and notes, and you can sign back in with the same Apple ID. See also our Privacy Policy.
